Weird Leverage clip help question

I watch Leverage regularly, but I can't say it's a hardcore fandom, and so I'm not super well-versed in my clip knowledge of the show, and need some help for a Hardison-centric vid I'm clipping for.
Are there any episodes that would feature anything related to a: 1)hair salon, or haircutting; 2) pets -- a pet store, someone with a pet; and 3)sushi, either eating sushi, a sushi restaurant, or something of that ilk (I know Elliott cooks in that one episode, and I could possible use that as a last resort, but something sushi specific would be outstanding).
Many thanks for any ideas!
In other news today... I had a brief respite in terms of work but that has come to a close. I should have gotten on the stick faster on this vid while I had the time. Before, I had two books and a bunch of other smaller jobs, now I have two books and smaller jobs and I have to prepare for a workshop I'll be running sooner than I would like to. OMG. This wouldn't be so unmanageable if the author of the nonfiction book I was working on had any decent sense of timelines and wasn't so cavalier and rude about not meeting any of the deadlines. It means I can't bill till it's finished, which keeps getting pushed back because he won't communicate or meet deadlines. And then I found out the fiction publisher pays on a freaking 120 day timeframe. After agreeing to another book. Man, I wanted to get a foot in the door for more fiction, but that's simply untenable for a freelancer.
The only silver lining is that the new book is by a friend! I am so excited to read it.
On the TV front, I have had a love-hate relationship this summer with my shows. I'm... not enjoying True Blood much at all. There are a few moments where I do, but then it goes right back to making me hate Tara, loathe Jason (I am so sick of him), and feel queasy whenever most of the newer characters and stories are on. I had to sit and listen to a group of people bang on about how much they didn't like Burn Notice, sitting there feeling like a schmuck because I still love it, but I admit that Jessie bores and irritates me in alternate moments. But I love Fi more this year than ever, I love her saving herself and relying on herself and learning to accept things about Michael she doesn't understand, and Sam has been even more awesome of late than he has been for a while. And I love that Michael is questioning his own needs and identity.
The jury's out on Mad Men since there have been only a couple of episodes. But I think I like what they're doing with Don -- he's still the most loathsome and alluring character on TV at the same time, which is pretty amazing. And Joan is just... sexier than ever, and I love her more each episode. But my god, I hate Betty. I started to hate her last year, and the sympathy I had for her being trapped in that horrible life has completely vanished now. I read someone saying about the first ep this season that Sally was one year closer to a raging eating disorder, and that is so true. The thing about Mad Men has always been that no matter how much you hated a character, you hated them with understanding. But I can't say that about Betty anymore; she's so far off the rails as a human being that I can't stand to watch her anymore.
Project Runway... what can you even say? I believe at this point they have gone out of their way to actually find contestants who will ignore and argue with Tim, as if they believe that creates good drama. But it's the nature of the contestants meeting the challenges and designing that creates good drama. We don't need all the rest of that crap, but Lifetime is making it much worse. And sorry, the instant you argue with Tim or dismiss his opinion, you should just go and die out in the alley -- Tim is a god! He's the only reason I really even watch the show, especially since I find Heidi detestable and more often that not am bored by the designers. I think I should just stop watching and instead visit Tim's video blog. I do like that Lifetime has finally stopped editing the runway walks so short. The past two seasons, you couldn't even see the clothing with their overly stylized editing and picosecond delivery.
ETA: I can't even watch Top Chef this season. It just makes me crazy, crazier even than PR. The couple episodes I watched, I heard Psycho theme music in my head, I wanted to stab everyone so bad.

Date: 2010-08-13 11:51 pm (UTC)Srsly? I'm enjoying this season a lot. I'm still not crazy about Jesse, but think he's okay (the other week when he was seriously freaked out about Fi's kidnapping made me like him more). I'm still crazy about Sam, Michael, and Fi, and Jesse joining the team has made for some really cool Fi/Sam and Sam/Michael stuff. Oh, and Maddie has been more awesome than usual. \o/
I wish I could help with the Hardison clips, but I'd literally have to sit down and rewatch eps just to jog my crappy memory.

Date: 2010-08-15 04:55 am (UTC)I loved Maddie and Fi this week. That stuff in the graveyard was golden.

Date: 2010-08-15 07:35 pm (UTC)I loved Maddie and Fi, too; those two have such a cool bond. In any other show, Maddie would HATE Fi.

Date: 2010-08-14 03:10 am (UTC)RE: Pets: well, Parker is seen as a young child holding Mr. Bunny, her beloved stuffed toy, in two flashbacks. There's an entire episode (The Two-Horse Job) involving horse racing (Sophie pets the horse at one point, IIRC.)
RE: Food:
- Juror #6 Job: jury is shown eating sandwiches
- The Wedding Job: Eliot is chef at a wedding (I think sushi is involved, but I'd have to go back and watch.)
- The Top Hat Job (season 2) involves bad frozen food, but I can't remember if anything was shown in the ep.
- I think in one of the casual scenes Sophie is eating sushi but I can't remember the ep; it may have been the first episode of the current season.
- Eliot tries to serve a corrupt politician appetizers.
RE: Hair: no hair cutting. (Though that line always reminds me of Blair Sandburg from The Sentinel....)

Date: 2010-08-14 05:17 pm (UTC)OMG I know. I quit after 2 or 3. Where did they even find these people? So disappointing, especially after last year's supernova level of talent.

Date: 2010-08-15 04:58 am (UTC)And let's face it, it's hard for anyone to be as likable as Kevin was last year.

Date: 2010-08-14 10:10 pm (UTC)I'm still with the Burn Notice love this season, esp. last Thursday's ep. I'm not crazy about Jesse, but I can deal with him for the time being. Fiona this season is even more wonderful than ever, and they've had so much good Sam stuff (Michael is always awesome) -- I'm happy.
Yep, gave up early on Top Chef this season, and now I'm glad I forgot about Project Runway, because I couldn't handle people dissing Tim. Tim is a god!

Date: 2010-08-15 05:00 am (UTC)I'm glad you're in the BN camp with me. I am just in love with Fi all over again this year. And that stuff in the cemetery this week was priceless.
Srsly, I do not understand these children who argue with TIm and dismiss his opinion. He tries to help them and they smack talk him behind his back. Do they never learn? Crikey, even Jeffrey listened to Tim.
summer tv

Date: 2010-08-15 05:04 am (UTC)Sherlock isn't my cuppa. But it seems to be the kool-aid for a lot of people, and I think it'll be a breakout for Yuletide this year. Mad Men is veeeeerrrry interesting this year.

Date: 2010-08-13 11:47 pm (UTC)Meanwhile: see icon for my feelings about one Don Draper. Sometimes I want to punch him in the face! But I always love him.

Date: 2010-08-15 04:48 am (UTC)I didn't used to hate her -- I felt incredible sympathy for her up till mid-last year. Her parenting, at that point, came to a head for me, and as bad as I feel for her being trapped in that life, having to be a mom, I hate her for what she's done to those kids. I saw that all around me as a kid (Sally is basically just about two years older than me), and knowing what will happen to those kids makes me ill.
Don is so fascinating -- I'm not sure I've ever loved a character who's so utterly loathsome and disgusting, and yet so sexy and compelling. When he treated Allison like dirt and gave her money like she was one of his hos, I just about flipped. Don, you ass. And then he goes and gets all heroic and loving with Anna! What can you do with him?

Date: 2010-08-14 03:39 am (UTC)Pets...There's the flashback to kid!Parker hugging her stuffed bunny. There's the whole "The Two-Horse Job," if you want to count racehorses as pets. Um...Oh! There's the white rabbit in "The Top Hat Job" and the bird/bird cage in "The Two Live Crew Job."
Elliot cooks throughout "The Wedding Job," there's the oranges/apples scene and a lunch eating scene in "The Juror #6 Job," Elliot cooking again at the end of "The Three Days of the Hunter Job," and a very important Toblerone package in "The Snow Job" (it gets a big mention in the episode commentary). There's a few food things in "The Tap Out Job," a significant sandwich eating in "The Zanzibar Marketplace Job," and a UST-y food scene with Nate and Sophie at the beginning of "The Inside Job." No sushi, tho.
ETA: there's Hardison eating a Hit Pocket in "Mile High," I just remembered.
Yeah, it would be nice if I could use this ability to remember important things.

Date: 2010-08-15 05:15 am (UTC)See? I can't stop doing it, so you would not be pestering me at all if you need various bits of Leverage info. I tend to listen to the episode commentaries as a stress antidote, which means I've seen the eps a frightening number of times.
