I've posted the Fast and the Furious story at my web site. Testing Gravity is here, it's about 10,000 words, Dom/Brian slash, and lamely porny (for me, anyway). Thanks so much to X for sending me the gorgeous, gorgeous drawings; they were definitely an inspiration.
And not that anyone cares, but I've also added the Miami Vice slash story I had only posted here last fall, now in a convenient single serving and more easily accessible for my LJ-phobic friends. (Crockett/Castillo, about 4,000 words, not teerifically smutty.)
Please don't take my slash card away from me just yet. ;-)

Date: 2004-07-29 10:48 am (UTC)Hee:-) No way, not after lines like these:
Dom rolled over with the sheet twisting around his hip, the line of the external oblique emphasized in the movement, and Brian placed his hand proprietarily on those magnificent abs, smiling.
and
Just the touch of Brian's hands across Dom's head would send a shiver down his spine, or the challenging way he'd glance at Dom with eyes that told him to do whatever he wanted.
Mmmm, I love the way you describe Brian touching Dom. And I love when antagonists eventually fall for each other. Lots of angsty goodness. Great job with these two -- thanks for this!
Valentine Heart was heartbreakingly lovely, btw. Perfect song and clip choices. The red color theme (the book wrapping!) throughout was wonderful. It looked good on my Norcent DVD player with just some minor pixelation close to transitions.

Date: 2004-07-29 05:45 pm (UTC)Very nice; there's a lovely dreamy, languid feel to it (at least, for me--it reminds of some days I spent on the beach in Puerto Penasco).
And this bit is my favorite--very lyrical:
But months went past, and life felt like an endless drowning. Brian went south, pulled down by the gravity that Mia had spoken of once, the pull that always seemed to bring people to Dominic Toretto.

Date: 2004-07-29 07:07 pm (UTC)Ah, for the days of Friday night excitement when I could hardly wait for 9 PM when the theme would come on and all those gorgeous colors would flood my TV screen.
Thanks for bringing back the memories.
