I wrote! Some fanfic only, but I actually managed to scare up the emotional resources and energy to work on the next part of Ciudad (I realize it should be the Buffy WIP or the Mag 7 story, but we take our inspiration where we can). 1,800 words is a lot more than I thought I had in me, even though usually that's like a lunch hour output.

Then, of course, work went to hell in a handbasket for one of the worst afternoons evah, and pretty much quashed the rest of the energy. But I wrote! It might not seem like much of an achievement, but the way I'm feeling lately, it's like summiting Mt. Rainier again.

Yeah, I have done Rainier -- I thought I'd mentioned that to you somewhere along the line? Probably a much bigger achievement than 1,800 words of prony fic, but some days certain things feel beter.

Considering all that's going on right now, I would think some days, merely getting out of bed and showering seems equal to summiting. I'm so gald you're finding the energy to do things that feed you!
