New vid -- Keen Eddie

I got the bright idea to make a new vid for Pacificon, aka bitchinparty. I thought it would be fun to make a second Keen Eddie vid, because I've wanted to do this one for years, but it kept being put on the back burner for other things. But it felt like a perfect fit with the con and the kind of show sdwolfpup was putting together. She patiently waited for me to finish it, bless her heart, until the last possible minute, since it was a new vid -- and apparently the only one, which makes her patience all the more amazing.

It's really just a bunch of silliness, but with my tendency toward the serious, every once in a while I have to cut loose and just do goofy, and there's really no better show for that than Keen Eddie. But it even kind of makes me smile, and I made it, so I figure that's a good sign. I really want to thank the audience at the con for their wonderful reaction; it made me feel so good to see so many people interested in the series. If you saw it at the con, there's a little change to the ending you might enjoy in the online files.

I love it! Fantastic!

I especially like the clips to "seemingly for no reason, they just pass on the street" and the one of them walking together in slow motion near the end.

The upbeat bouncy tone really matches that of the show and it goes perfectly with your other Keen Eddie vid, too.

I'll get someone with the right technology to download this so we can play it at one of our slash gatherings here.

Thank you, thank you! It's hard not to pick bouncy for this show -- there's something about it that really lures you into the peppy and the silly. I'm fairly certain that one could also make a serious vid to the series, but... well, where's the fun in that? ;-)

I still have to send you the Cannibals remaster disc. I haven't forgotten, just been so busy I keep pushing it back. But I will!

I know you released this vid a while ago, but I only just saw the link and since it's Keen Eddie, I really wanted to see it. However, the streeming and the website links don't seem to be working for me.

(It might be a Firefox thing, I'm really not sure.)

Nonetheless, I was wondering if it's possible to still download/view this somewhere. Because, you know, Eddie and Monty, set to the Pretenders. It sounds like a great idea.

Hey, it's never too late! I am always so happy to find fellow KE fans out there, it just makes me squee with happiness.

I don't have a copy anywhere else except on a dvd. I'm not sure why it's not working for you -- can you give me a few of your specs? I know Imeem is being total douches lately and that may be part of the explanation for the streaming issues, but if you right click the link on the web site vids page, you *should* be able to get it -- I haven't heard of any other problems, so it could be a firewall issue, or maybe a system issue, or something else.

And if you want to get the dvd, let me know and we can arrange something.

I got it! I can't explain it, but when I tried to open the site, Firefox wouldn't show me anything. Except this morning, it worked fine.

To the extent that I was able to download the vid and then cackle as I watched. I'm very fond of that song -- it's upbeat and fun and the perfect song for an overwhelming crush -- and "upbeat and fun" is a perfect way to describe the series, too.

It's the kind of vid that makes me smile and then wonder why I don't own Keen Eddie on DVD.

You should totally get the dvds. Even though they replaced the music for the most part it's still really shiny and the cinematography just glows with bright colors.
