So, so tie-tie. Vividcon was a whirlwind, so much so that by Sunday night I was in my typical INFJ overwhelmed space and had to have some quiet time. So much to see and do and people to see and... well, do things with. Vid-o-rama, not enough meals, not enough sleep, too much dancing, not enough drinking... seeing old friends and making new ones, putting names with faces, hugging people I didn't even know... I need to make a real con report and vid reviews but I always say that every year and I have the best intentions but we know what that road is and where it goes.

The O'Hare curse was lifted this year. I don't know why. Was it because I had the same flight as [livejournal.com profile] sherrold and [livejournal.com profile] wickedwords, plus [livejournal.com profile] killabeez? And on the way home, Sandy and Rache again plus this time [livejournal.com profile] sdwolfpup? Something was different because not only were we relatively on time (we actually got home early!), there were no horrid storms or security meltdowns or the airline stealing my seat or me falling down and injuring myself or... anything. Just some scary ass turbulence on the way to Chitown. Yet I found myself thinking on the way over and mentioned it to Sandy and Rache on the way back because sometimes I wonder about the way my mind works: If the plane crashed, that would take out a rather significant portion of Vividcon vidding folks. Not that I would inflate my own worth to the vidding world, but the others would mean a huge loss. So maybe there is some vidding god in the pantheon who looks out for planes with lots of vidders.

The vids seemed to go over well. That's the most you can hope for. I'll post those in a few minutes, and hopefully I can get Imeem to embed them in the post for viewer convenience.

Now back to the real world. After I eat some of the yummy-looking key lime coconut patties [livejournal.com profile] deejay brought me ::cries::
