Hey, Portlandians!

Portland, Oregon, that is. I have to be down there on Saturday for a volunteer gig in the afternoon at the convention center. I haven't been to Portland in like 10 years, and I no longer know where's a good spot to get a nice dinner. I was thinking of something not too expensive, but still nice, and that had a nice variety. Most of the stuff on the Portland travel sites is fairly chi-chi, which may be fancier than I want because I'm not exactly going to be dressed up and hugely presentable.
mlyn will be with me. And if you think you might have some time free, maybe you could join us? (I know it's super short notice, and I honestly don't know exactly what the timing will be like. We'll most likely be parking downtown, and then I'll be Maxing over to the CC and back.) I'd love some native input (or people who visit there regularly, weigh in, too.)

Date: 2008-11-06 11:32 pm (UTC)Since I cannot meet up with you, I can give suggestions for food. There are tons of places to eat around the Convention Center, within walking distance. For medium price and variety, I would suggest Applebees or Stanfords, both are at Lloyd Center. There are a lot of places like Burgerville, Chipotle, Ethiopian, Italian...so many!
