gwynI figure I might as well post the Escapade vid show information here as well, in case you haven't seen it in the eleventy other places I posted:
The Escapade convention vid show deadline will be Friday, Feb. 13 at 11:59 ET. I haven't been able to get the webmaster to update the page despite my many emails, but use this deadline as your target if you're thinking of submitting a vid. There can be some wiggle room over the weekend if you need to negotiate that privately.
For those of you who don't know about it, Escapade is the longest-running slash con around. Vids are not censored or screened for content, and while slash vids are always popular, anything goes: character studies, parodies, dramatic or envelope-pushing, whatever you've got. Vids do NOT have to be a premiere, though if you've got one you want to wait and premiere at the con, by all means! All you Merlin-crazed folks who've been churning out vids lately? Send them our way! Trying to make sense of the end of SGA? Make a vid and send it to us! Got a new fandom from reading Yuletide stories? We want a vid!
You can visit the Songvid show page at the Escapade web site for more information and uploading instructions if you need them. For those of you veterans who aren't able to join us this year, we'd especially love to have your vid be your presence at the con (because we will miss you! Sniff).
