OMG, I 3> Chuck from last week and this week so, so much. But AUGH, everything seems like it's setting up for a complete ending because they know they're being cancelled for realz. NO!!!!! I cannot live without my happy-place Chuck. I will have no more happy places left.

He was terribly, terribly awesome. I loved him panicking when Ellie came back and asked him questions, and I also loved that she assumed he was freaking because of the wedding, and that she slapped him. It was deliriously wonderful that everyone thought Casey was stalking Chuck, and that Awesome got trapped in Casey's security. And Casey's "I hate this whole family" was brilliant.

This was a great episode for the Casey-lover in me, too -- his internal conflict with what he feels (because Feeling Is Bad) vs. his unwavering belief that he's doing the right thing for his country. The little Reagan statues and pictures everywhere and that he drives and '80s Crown Vic have always been the signifiers of his obsession with what he sees as a simpler worldview; being on this detail has consistently put chinks, one after another, in his armor and confuses the hell out of him. I adored that he wanted to go to the rehearsal dinner and tossed it off as being about the open bar.

I wonder how thoroughly Chuck's dad did get the Intersect out of his head, or if there will be a whole different set of problems for Chuck. And based on the teaser for next week, it does look like a whole 'nother set of troubles. Scott Bakula is getting scary rugged in the face, but wow, he's still in great shape and I liked seeing him in those nice t-shirts. Mmmm. And poor Arnold Vosloo -- he keeps consistently getting beat up, hit, blown up, and everything else, yet he bounces back and looks lovely in a blue suit.

I confess, the romantic in me really did want to see Chuck and Sarah finally have that moment together, and I wanted to kill Morgan too for stealing his condom. But how sweet that of course, Chuck ran to get that. And what will really happen to Morgan? That's why it seems to me that they're closing up shop, because Morgan leaving the Buy More is like Fraser leaving the Mounties. It just can't be done. Also, I love Tony Hale so much and I hate the idea of not seeing him working his pathetic wiles on everyone each week. ::sobs::

I really don't want to lose this show. But it seems like NBC isn't supporting it and this feels like the wrap-up. Dammit, I need some Chuck iconage.

I feel you!

That was a wonderful episode. So wonderful we kept it in the DVR to watch again!

IF it turns out this is going to be the end, I like that they're wrapping things up so nicely.

And I looooooooooooove Captain Awesome. He's just so...awesome!
