gwynAlthough I don't care about reveals, as I'm usually still reading Yuletide after author names get attached and I've never quite understood why recs stop after reveals…
Care and Feeding of Your Janet, The Good Place - I was kind of meh about this till the troubleshooting section at the end and then I laughed out loud. I mean, it's funny anyway, but when you've edited dozens of user guides that essentially say "has water gotten on your device? then it will be wet" then this becomes gold.
Hell Takes All the Credit, The Good Place - I have barely begun to crack the GP fic so far because there's so much of it, but this one's pretty cute.
Delusions of Voyeur, The Good Place - the main reason I'm reccing this is Mindy St. Claire. Since I forked up and didn't nominate her, she wasn't in the tagset, and I couldn't really request her, so I love that someone wrote a fic with her in it.
Hope is a dangerous hole (will you join me?), Logan - I think few people have thought to look under Wolverine movies for the Logan fic, and it's suffered a lot--you also can't search on just Logan, you have to be savvy enough to put (2017) in parens to find it. It's infuriating, because the fics there are really good. This one gives Logan and Laura more time and a different, bittersweet ending, and I'm not crying you're crying.
Unhitch and Crumble Down, Logan - I freaking loved this spare, poetic look at Logan, Charles, and Laura and Logan's interior voice here is incredible. I'm not crying there's just something in my eye.
Esperanza, Logan - like I said, the fics in this are amazing, and it's a travesty that they won't allow a category for Logan, since you can't search for fics and it just ends up looking like nothing's there. This is a nobody dies AU that reunites little murder cupcake Laura with Logan after the movie.
I'm still wading through Martian and Good Place.
