This was such an incredibly lovely comment--honestly, vidders almost never hear this kind of thing, and we're usually going "no please don't stop" inside in this desperate interior monologue, so I loved every single word of this like crazy. When I'm filled with doubt or misery, this will be a thing I go back to to read and remind myself that it's not hopeless. I'm especially chuffed at your first comments because I wondered a lot if that clip of WALL-E would make sense to people, if viewers would grok that it was that joy of showing your friend the thing (and as a former VCR vidder, there was that connection to video tape too, which someone mentioned at the con and I felt really relieved). You work in a vacuum so much of the time when you vid, and so getting this kind of feedback is utterly priceless, especially when it's almost as silent after it's seen.

I'm also glad that this could bring some happiness to you, what with everything you've been going through. It felt like a bit of a fool's errand when I started on this, because it was such an undertaking in too short of a timeline, but a comment like this? Makes it all worthwhile. I'm really grateful.
