4.05 - Many pluses in this episode: Raylan and Tim team-up, Raylan and Boyd in jeopardy proclaiming how they can't stand each other but still managing to help each other out, and just the strangeness of Harlan.
I do really love the interaction with Tim and Colt. Like, they couldn't be more opposite, except they're pretty similar and they really do get each other. Have to give Eldard a lot of credit on this one. He's super convincing as panicked, cold-blooded and since in turn.

Date: 2020-02-19 06:16 am (UTC)This peek into the bare knuckle fighting world is rather like wandering through a fraternity keg party. Everyone in that world is gross! Except maybe for the lady fighter Raylan and Rachel meet. I liked her. Does Raylan grab that man's penis while he was questioning him?! O.O Amazing. Or he does something else to make that guy tense up and the lady fighter look scandalized and amused lol. Rachel doesn't even lift an eyebrow. I love her. I do wish Tim had been there.
I didn't realize the preacher died.
Ellen May's delight at being allowed to go home is so sad. Very glad Colt failed to kill her.

Everyone wants Drew Thompson.
It's weird that Constable Bob drives around with Raylan's mementos in the back of his car.
Yay Tim! That is an odd exchange between them -- Raylan teasing Tim about his reading material, and Tim quipping back about shooting the heads Taliban. One is not like the other, Tim!
I note that Tim and Rachel drive nice big SUVs, but Raylan sticks with a boaty sedan.
"Hello, Raylan." :D :D :D
I like that Tim immediately recognizes Colt as a fellow vet. And then they're just having a totally normal-for-vets conversation. In an alternate world, Colt would take up Tim's offer to apply to the Marshal's service.
