Date: 2020-03-18 03:44 am (UTC)Second favorite thing is Rachel having zero patience for Limehouse.
Third favorite thing is Raylan telling Jimmy it's his (Raylan's) job to be a dick.
And then the confrontation between Tim and Colton is pretty high up there, too.
4.13 - I shouldn't enjoy Raylan mouthing off and then shooting people but I really do enjoy Raylan mouthing off and shooting people.
This episode is a lesson in just how dangerous Raylan actually is. His laid-back facade comes off for a bit with the whole set-up of Nicky Augustine and the cold-blooded way Raylan sets him up is another one of the occaisonal reminders the show gives us about how easily Raylan could have gone the other way and how very bad that would have been.
Peace of Mind
Date: 2020-03-19 06:01 am (UTC)Tim: Nah, the moment's gone.
Rachel: Does this mean you're finally getting a hair cut.
Raylan: Don't hold your breath.
~ Love Art saying congratulations, nice work, and you're suspended. :D Raylan: remind me why again?
~ Lots of gems in the scene with the 3 marshals and Limehouse. Tim, quoting the Fugitive :D. Also, Rachel continues to be my hero. "Hold on, Captain America." HAHAHA
Rachel's expression with Raylan teases Tim about waking up wanting to catch bad guys that day. :D She is like, "oh no he didn't." Oh yes he did! LOL. I love them. It's interesting that they do NOT push my OT3 button in a romantic way, but I would like to have several thousand word stories about the 3 of them working together.
~ I really liked Ellen May's character arc, although I personally would prefer for her to have found a little more of a backbone, but I think she was rather honestly portrayed, and her searching for a way out of her bad luck and bad life choices is really endearing. Also the actress does a great job.
~ Is Cassie living in that tent still?
~ Colt must have known he had no chance. Interesting choice to have Tim take Colt's aviator glasses. i like his scene with Cassie.
~ Creepy ending.
Ghosts
Date: 2020-03-19 07:09 am (UTC)~Frankly I do not understand why they didn't do something about Delroy's body before this. The body was the one part of the situation they actually could have done something about, and it didn't involve killing another person.
~They always gotta put the baby mama at risk! At least Winona (and baby) doesn't die. In fact, I thought she handed that situation real well.
~Vasquez -- "It's all very Shakespearian." :D Really, I've grown quite fond of Vasquez in this rewatch.
~Another ultimatum between Art and Raylan.
~All these Detroit mafia men are so smug. Until they run up against Raylan.
