gwyn | A slight pause

Today I slipped on black ice that some fuckwad didn't mark or try to do anything with, while I walked Ginny. I don't know if I broke my thumb or just sprained it really bad, but it hurts a lot to type. My knee is all bloody and banged up, and my ankle and left butt bone got really hammered, and I think I twisted my arm, too, because it really hurts. It's kind of amazing that I didn't crack my skull open. Really, I want to go back to their house and knock on their door and tell them I'm suing them -- the water had run down from their garden onto the sidewalk so it's their responsibility (and who fucking waters their lawn in the dead of winter when it's 27 degrees out?). At least I was able to warn a woman coming down the same street with her dog. Also, you know what really sucks? Walking 20 minutes back to your house, bloody and bruised and with wet pants from the ice, in 31 degree cold.

So I'l have to do today's question tomorrow.

I'm enjoying the hell out of this meme, though -- I may not comment on everyone's entries, but I'm reading them all and truly enjoying them all.
