Oh, and? During Angel last night they ran an ad for the "season finale" of Birds of Prey. Apparently that's one thing they're keeping Angel off the air for for the next three weeks. While I'm thrilled to see one more ep of BoP, it annoys me that they're taking Angel off for so long.

Plus? I want Fox to show us the last freaking eps of Firefly. Now. Bastards.

I was so psyched when I saw the BoP finale preview at least we'll get some kind of closure. I was so disapointed when I heard the show had been cancelled. I mean, Batman and Catwoman's daughter, c'mon it's fanfic come to life and they snuffed it...but alas... As for Angel going on hiatus for three weeks, because of the cross over with BtVS and the time lines each show has to play catch up. Faith is supposed to appear first on Angel then close out in BtVS so the hiatus allows for the shows to synchronize, at least that's how I have perceived the hiatus/constant re-runs on the respective shows.

Yeah, that totally makes sense, it's just... can I still be unhappy? I'm so enjoying all this, and then to have it yanked for so long to maintain a schedule... arg. A lot of fan friends won't watch shows currently airing. They prefer to have the show in one big bundle on tape and watch everything after it's over. I like the week to week waiting, the enjoyment of having something to look forward to with a weekly airing series -- but this is *too* much torment. ;-)

I'm am glad there'll be at least something else for Birds of Prey. It was cheesy, but fun, and with all the comic popularity at the movies, I don't get why we can't have a successful comics-based show on the air.
