Falling off the map

I do believe, however, that I've been to either Kansas or Nebraska, but I can't remember which, and dad's unavailable for me to check with right now. Not that he could remember, he has rather derisive terms for both of them.
OTOH, I've been to far fewer places around the world. Although, rather amusingly the Caribbean islands I checked don't even show up on the map. Phoo.

Anyhow. So next week, they are cancelling my cable TV. I won't have TV for a week, people! A WEEEEEEKKKK. I don't know what I'm going to do. It's horrible! There are still new eps of Prison Break, 30 Rock, Chuck, Pushing Daisies, and so on! The horror! And I also have to cancel my TiVo. Oh, TiVo, I will miss you. The new DVR will not be even half of what you are. But I am stuck with it for now if I want to get HD satellite. I will miss your thumbs up and down, and your suggestions, and your superior ability to create wishlists. I will most greatly miss your ability to undelete programs. I will not, however, miss your constant resetting yourself to the wrong time. Or only being able to record one channel at a time.
Poor, poor TiVo. Goodbye, Canadian channel on cable that I love so fiercely. I don't want to give up on you guys, but... I need cheaper right now. Sniff.
