31 Flavors: The Losers vid

I caught The Losers again on TV the other night, and they'd cut out all the good bits, but it's one of those movies that if it comes on my TV, I will always watch it. It's definitely a movie that has a lot of problems, but I still love it despite its issues. And one of my favorite vids for it is one sdwolfpup made for Festivids a few years ago that I think captures the best of the movie and is a lot of fun to watch.

And speaking of The Losers, is there any good fix-it fic for Roque that doesn't have him, you know, doing what he does in the movie? I wouldn't necessarily care about a pairing although I confess a little fix-it Roque/Clay fic wouldn't be a disappointment, if you know what I mean.

Hmm, now I'm annoyed at myself for not remembering the names of things. I'm sure there's a few good un's on AO3, and I've read them... I'll come back with it (like a dog with a messy bone it dug up) if I track it down among my subscriptions etc.
What was the one where there's a rip in spacetime in the basement of Max's facility, with tentacled monsters, and Roque's an inside guy trying to **spoiler**, and there's zombie-like supersoldiers?

Also, I'd offer my own stuff, where I prefer Roque the guy with angry faith and not the disillusioned Roque, but he isn't a fix, he's an AU.

(We finally matched on a fandom! But I am more of a COugar/Jensen person than a Clay/Roque person. :-))

I'm totally down with Jensen/Cougar and can totally see it in the movie. But when I was watching it, and with my Idris Elba love dialled up to 11 these days, I started wondering if there was any kind of fix-it fic for Roque. I mean, fans have to have done this, right? It seems like Clay would be his most likely pairing, but honestly, I could see pretty much any pairing with him (and gosh, Roque/Jensen could be freaking hilarious...).

It might be! I haven't strayed too far from the Cougar/Jensen, and I have read one or two stories where Roque's betrayal didn't happen or where it was cover for him to go deep undercover to bring Max down from the inside, but they tend not to go into Roque details because they were Cougar/Jensen stories.

So I'm no help really, but I agree Roque/Jensen would be hilarious. *g*
