Man, I am just at rock bottom the past few days, professionally, personally...everything's going wrong. I even have a new foster dog who's just awful and adding to the depression. Tell me, as Ms Chaka Khan says, something good? Or funny? Or sweet? What's making you happy? It's been a while since I've felt this bad.

I've been stuck on the couch for the last 10 days because of my stupid ears problems and have been without laptop because it was in getting repaired. I was so bored. SO BORED. But! TB went to fetch it yesterday and I am SO HAPPY to have it back! Also, my kitty seems very aware that I'm not doing so great so she spends hours every day curled up on my belly under the blanket and it is very comforting and sweet and only super awkward when I really need to go to the loo and don't want to disturb her pretty face.

Mostly I'm happy that now the days are long by May and it isn't dark all the time, also while the weather has been changeable the sun can be seen at least semi-frequently, but it is not uncomfortably hot. So that has been good for my mood.

Also that there is a lot of art and fic post-CA:TWS to pick from is making me happy. Most recently I read this delightful outsider POV.

Today Catfish made me really happy because Nev and Max gazed at each other a lot and bantered cutely about missing spots shaving and it was winter so they wore a lot of scarves and sweaters? And we have the pilot for the new cop show with Sung Kang. Wooooo! Also I've been thinking about how much Kirk and Spock love each other a lot recently. Possibly because I'm listening to a mix Sonia made with the Magnetic Fields' "Papa Was a Rodeo" on it and that song always makes me think of them.

So sorry to hear you are feeling shitty. I've been struggling a bit of late, but tomorrow is the start of a fangirl weekend with nickelmountain when we will explore Bucky feels and all our personal life stuff too.

One of my go-to anti-sad strategies is to look at vids of turtles fucking. Shoes, other turtles, whatever. They are hilarious and ridiculous.
